Member Focus: Vincent Ellis White
Vincent Ellis White is a former Common Ground member and current Membership Committee member. He is a long-standing community leader, former social worker, child welfare advocate, and native of Richmond. He’s cemented my footprint through a multitude of projects including the publication of his best-selling memoir, "Finding Chris, My Father."
Vincent’s philosophy is to serve local, yet think and move global. “I get to live my life in transparency and authenticity, and positively impact people around the globe. Through Common House I've had the opportunity to connect with a greater network, while having fun along the way at events like biweekly trivia and Table 303.”
”By having difficult conversations for a living I have been able to create a safe-space where folks are able to share openly, be vulnerable, and not be judged while doing so. I hope this happy hour can be a way to connect with new and old friends alike, along with celebrating the success of my CH programming series, ‘The Importance of Having Difficult Conversations.’"
