Each space can be rented stand-alone or paired with another rental. Our Director of Events will work closely with you to choose the right space or combination of spaces for any occasion.
Ruby Hall
Ruby Hall, our flagship venue, accommodates parties from 20 to 300+ where natural lighting and local decor fills the space with a rare ambience.
Accommodates up to 200 guests for seated meal or 300+ for a cocktail-style reception
The Pennybacker Room
An intimate gathering space, ideal for post-wedding brunch, corporate off-sites, bridal showers, private dining, and cocktail parties.
Accommodates up to 60 guests for seated meal or 80 for a cocktail-style reception
The Garden
For outdoor moments of all shapes and sizes, we have you covered. Host onsite ceremonies, cocktail hours, and outdoor parties amidst fresh air and gorgeous landscaping.

Bridal Suite & Guest Rooms
Elevate your private event and stay with us. Our modern Bridal Suite and guest rooms offer a modern getaway, set to the backdrop of Lookout Mountain.
Each room accommodates up to 2 guests. We have seven guest rooms in total, including one Suite and one ADA accessible room.
Wedding Details
Common House is a sought-after wedding destination exuding a romantic elegance. We offer all-inclusive dining, beverage, and furnishing services, custom-tailored to meet any need.
Inclusive Rentals
All rentals include tables, chairs, glassware, utensils, napkins, labor (servers, manager on duty, bartenders), speakers for background music, set-up and break down. In house A/V equipment is available at no additional cost on a first-come-first-served basis (projector, screen, mic, speakers). Learn more
Day-of Coordinator
We do require a day-of wedding coordinator to help execute the event. This ensures that our staff can communicate with the coordinator and not bother you on the big day. Common House has a list of approved day-of coordinators/wedding planners. If a client wants to use someone not on this list, they must be vetted and approved by the Director of Events.
Event Insurance & Security
Clients renting Common House for a wedding are required to obtain liability insurance coverage for a minimum of $1,000,000 in coverage. For all other events with a guest count exceeding 100 people or a subtotal spend of $10,000, the rental party is required to obtain liability insurance coverage for a minimum of $1,000,000 in coverage as well. Security is required for events over 75 guests.
Parking
There is no on-site parking at Common House Chattanooga, so we highly recommend coordinating a valet or shuttle service for wedding guests.
Outside Food & Beverage
There is no outside food and beverage allowed at Common House Chattanooga.

Common House is a contemporary social club where people of all backgrounds gather, co-work, and dine. Located in Chattanooga’s historic southside, Common House Chattanooga offers three floors of elevated modern design, expertly crafted food and beverage, and a lively slate of ongoing programming. Though membership is not required to host a private event at Common House, members receive discounts on event space fees and have access to book exclusive rooms across Common House locations in Charlottesville, Richmond, and Chattanooga.
